Crows Murder

 

[2011/01/20 13:00] Crow had been in a simular situation more than once and although one might not guess his mood seemed to be calm and very calculated. His eyes travel around to study the prison he was in. He had noted things that might be useful. Than he started to sing … not that he liked singing but it allowed him to hear how the echo would expose the other room. The voice increased in volume unaware how far it would travel “I am just a lonely man … Lonely and blue.”

[2011/01/20 13:04] Crow could hear someone calling out even when he was still singing loud. The song he used to hear how rooms were build, the echo of his voice told him much and could mean the difference between life and death. “A gorean man should never be alone …. Alone is for those without the coin to pay for his pleasure …” he sings “No Gorean man should be lonely and blueeeeee….”

[2011/01/20 13:08] Crow could hear the tarns that became restless of his singing not that far from him. He figured that the cots might be close by to the prisons … which would eventually be useful if his patience would be tested to much. Not that he minded the peace and quiet while he continues his song very loudly “The steamy hot pleasure of sex is easely bought … For a gorean man it is most important … it is not just a tought … No Gorean man should be lonely and blue …. ” he continues “As his cock might shrink … and his seed might be wasted to the stones …” he added unaware how the song really went.

[2011/01/20 13:12] Crow felt the cold chackles and to his surprise he had noticed not the smallest sound in the other room which was quite empty if the echo didn’t deceive him. No guards seemed to be there and that might be promising if he desired to get out of this. Somehow he enjoyed his singing eventhough the song was hardly one he had learned many years ago “She moans and cries when she can’t be used to the fullest with a hard peen the Gorean man can thrust into her pleasure cave.” he shook his head … that didn’t rhym … he cleared his throat and started to sing another song “What shall we do with the drunken Scarlet … what shall we do with the drunken Scarlet early in the morning.”

[2011/01/20 13:15] Pyro smiles to the man, “whats wrong sir?”

[2011/01/20 13:15] Crow tried to figure out 1001 ways to kill a scarlet but shook his head, there was little pleasure in that. “We should make him beg on his knees …. Early in the morning.” he continues “That is what we shall do with the drunken scarlet in the morning.

[2011/01/20 13:16] Crow looks up seeing the same man as yesterday and cleared his throat “Ah … Sir … something wrong ?” he echo’s “Does it sound that way ?” he asks.

[2011/01/20 13:16] Pyro Turbo: aye, i heard ya all the way in town sir

[2011/01/20 13:17] Crow arched a brow at that knowledge which was useful to him “Yes … I hope you enjoyed it … since from my point of view there is little else I can do … is there ?”

[2011/01/20 13:17] Pyro Turbo: aye, hopefully the magistrate will be in town today

[2011/01/20 13:18] Crow chuckles “And who might the magistrate be ?” he asks while he regarded the young man.

[2011/01/20 13:18] Pyro Turbo: a man by the name of Zale

[2011/01/20 13:20] Crow nods “I believe I met him once … ” he tried to remember “So … scarlet … did you pay attention to my warnings of yesterday ?” he asks while his eyes take note of the stance of the man.

[2011/01/20 13:21] Pyro Turbo: sir, warnings are just warnings, and if you escape and manage to down me, then so be it, but my duty is what i must do

[2011/01/20 13:23] Crow nods slow “Warnings can be very valuable Sir … it would be foolish to disregard them … and as to my escape … why do you think I would desire such .. have I not given you any trouble this far ?”

[2011/01/20 13:23] Pyro Turbo: no, no trouble sir, and i thank you very much for it, makes my job less hectic

[2011/01/20 13:26] Crow arched a brow “You are new to the city ?” he asks

[2011/01/20 13:27] Pyro Turbo: no, not new to Vonda sir, been here a while (a month)

[2011/01/20 13:30] Crow nodded slow while he didn’t seem to be all to uncomfortable by the iron steel around his wrists “Yes … well … it seems you have still a lot to learn about the defences of the city …and my caste.”

[2011/01/20 13:30] Pyro Turbo: Tal Ubar sir

[2011/01/20 13:30] Pyro slams his right fist over his heart in a warrior salute: “Honor and Steel! – Honor above all!”

[2011/01/20 13:31] Crow turns to see the other “Greetings Ubar.” he greets with his usal toneless voice.

[2011/01/20 13:31] Andro Muircastle: So.. has this man learned anything yet?

[2011/01/20 13:31] Pyro Turbo: maybe, doesnt seem like it though sir

[2011/01/20 13:32] Andro Muircastle: Greetings Sir… I’ve heard your name is Crow?

[2011/01/20 13:32] Crow kept his face unreadable while he listens and had his own thoughts on the matter. When his name is mentioned he arched a brow “Oh … you heard ?” he asks curious “I wonder who told you such … as none have asked.”

[2011/01/20 13:32] Andro Muircastle: Pyro, would you please go and find a slave to bring the Magistrate here?

[2011/01/20 13:33] Pyro Turbo: aye sir

[2011/01/20 13:33] Andro Muircastle: We have people here who know you from the past, Crow.

[2011/01/20 13:34] Andro Muircastle: We welcome visitors to Vonda. IF they ring the bell and come in through the gate.

[2011/01/20 13:34] Crow regarded him calm “They must have been hiding since I haven’t seen anyone that I can remember … please enlighten me Sir … ”

[2011/01/20 13:35] Andro Muircastle: I’ve been told you chose to come in by your own means. Was there any particular reason? Or were you just bored?

[2011/01/20 13:36] Crow took time before he replied “I am not known to be someone that just acts out on his whim Sir … I have my reasons and when I exposed them your men didn’t take them well and arrested me … while I only gave them the insight.”

[2011/01/20 13:37] Andro Muircastle: What insight? That a rope can be used to scale the walls? Doesn’t take much intelligence to figure that out.

[2011/01/20 13:38] Crow chuckles darkly “Indeed … that doesn’t take much intelligence … but doesn’t strike you as odd … that I had to tell them first before they had the chance to arrest me ?” he asks while now his eyes slightly narrow to regard him sharper to see if he really understood what he meant.

[2011/01/20 13:40] Andro Muircastle: We know our city can be entered. We don’t need you to show us that. You arrived when few Scarlets were here. From what I have been told, there was but one. So, you scaled the wall. It’s been done before and will be again I am sure. Surely there was more point in your actions then to just rub their noses in the breech of security at that time?

[2011/01/20 13:42] Crow shook his head “Think what you wish … or guess my intentions they seem to be lost on what might be a man that seems to bound of honour but doesn’t see to the safety of the citizens that pay good coin to remain within these walls safely.” he sighs … again the words of his old mentor spring to mind … “pearls before swines.” he mutters.

[2011/01/20 13:43] Andro Muircastle: I see. So you think we are without honor and do not protect our citizens just because YOU chose to come in over the walls? How arrogant and presumptious of you.

[2011/01/20 13:45] Crow looks up and his face was striaght without the emotions he might feel by the wrong judgment of the Ubar. “Call me what you wish … I am sure you can see I am unable to stop you from doing so … It seems you are the one that desires to be ignorant … ” he replied casually.

The magistrate and ubar discuss what they should do with Crow.

[2011/01/20 13:46] Andro Muircastle: I actually came down here with the intention of just releasing him, but he chooses to insult our honor and our city. Makes it hard for me to just send him on his way.

[2011/01/20 13:47] Crow turns to the magistrate … perhaps in idle hope he didn’t have the false ego so many scarlets seemed to have “Greetings Magistrate.” he greets “How easy to insult one when he desires to hear only his own voice hmm…”

[2011/01/20 13:47] Andro Muircastle: It’s always amusing to have a man in a cell, chained to a wall who throws insults about intelligence and honor.

[2011/01/20 13:47] Zale of Vonda (zale.kletzel): So, he broke in.. did he attack anyone?

[2011/01/20 13:47] Andro Muircastle: No

[2011/01/20 13:48] Zale of Vonda looks at the man – *What is your story, why did you enter the city, uninvited?

[2011/01/20 13:49] Crow turns to Zale “I believe my intentions are already questioned and judged … Sir … I believe they don’t matter anymore.” he replied.

[2011/01/20 13:49] Zale of Vonda looks at Andro and shakes head

[2011/01/20 13:49] Andro Muircastle chuckles and shakes his head

[2011/01/20 13:50] Zale of Vonda (zale.kletzel): Well, Ubar, what you need from me?

[2011/01/20 13:50] Andro Muircastle: I guess nothing. He doesn’t wish to talk to you about it so no decision can be reached.

[2011/01/20 13:50] Zale of Vonda (zale.kletzel): Indeed

[2011/01/20 13:51] Zale of Vonda (zale.kletzel): Let him rot inside this cell, maybe he changes his mind and manners

[2011/01/20 13:52] Crow wondered if he should start to whistle a tune of long gone days. He could guess their thoughts but wouldn’t enlighten them. The fact he had still been here … might be one of the small triggers as they both should know that a killer in his training had to endure much more than this … and was very much trained to deal with matters such as these.

[2011/01/20 13:53] Andro Muircastle: We may also have to gag him. He is doing his best to be annoying.

[2011/01/20 13:53] Zale of Vonda (zale.kletzel): *Do we know who he is, Andro?

[2011/01/20 13:54] Andro Muircastle: I’ve been told he goes by the name of “Crow”.

[2011/01/20 13:54] Andro Muircastle: I don’t know much more than that.

[2011/01/20 13:54] Andro Muircastle: The man who recognized him said he is of the Black Caste.

[2011/01/20 13:54] Zale of Vonda (zale.kletzel): nods. *He is lying, of course, about his real intentions.

[2011/01/20 13:54] Zale of Vonda (zale.kletzel): ohh, yes? he was reconized then?

[2011/01/20 13:55] Andro Muircastle: One of the Scarlets said they knew him from the past.

[2011/01/20 13:56] Crow listens while he didn’t move much in this position. It was all about endurement and he had his time to learn. He doubted the scarlets had seen him … but than again his reputation had grown wide since he was MA of Ar.

[2011/01/20 13:56] Zale of Vonda (zale.kletzel): Very well, then… an outlaw, posibly of the black caste, broke in our walls. That would be enough to have him dead

[2011/01/20 13:57] Andro Muircastle: Impalement?

[2011/01/20 13:57] Zale of Vonda (zale.kletzel): nods

[2011/01/20 13:58] Andro Muircastle: Well, Magistrate, it is your call and your decision.

[2011/01/20 13:58] Zale of Vonda steps closer to the cell – *One more time, and the last.. Crow.. what you have to say in your defense?

[2011/01/20 13:58] Andro Muircastle: If you hand down that sentence, I will instruct the Scarlets to carry it out.

[2011/01/20 13:58] Zale of Vonda looks at Andro, waiting for the man to answer

[2011/01/20 13:59] Zale of Vonda (zale.kletzel): *sounds like he lost his voice now

[2011/01/20 14:00] Zale of Vonda (zale.kletzel): Ubar.. I will need to talk to the one that captured him, as well as who recognized him, first

[2011/01/20 14:00] Andro Muircastle: So what do you direct us to do, Magistrate?

[2011/01/20 14:00] Crow listens to the two men, perhaps he was to old to reason with them. He didn’t fear death … he had cheated it already more than he could count. “I am surprised … you want to bring what in my defence ? None saw me enter the city … when I expressed what had happend … while I was heading out … I was arrested … and now you tell me I am considered to be an outlaw … that had no trail … ” he lifted his chin “If the city of Vonda desires to be a city without the true law … I am sure they will in time face the consequence.”

[2011/01/20 14:06] Crow noticed the scarlet enter again … and his eyes regard him. It was the one that had seen him leave without anyone harmed … and merely giving the suggestion that the defence of the city had been little. Crow himself held quiet not to tell what the scarlet had confessed to him while he mentioned the few guards. He wasn’t one that would safe his own skin for something as little as this.

[2011/01/20 14:07] Pyro Turbo: i come down from the infirmary sir and see this man inside the inner walls, past both gates and with shana by him. shana said nothin but we wore all black clothing. so i asked how he got in he didnt say anything. i asked who he was and his homestone and his cast, he just replied he was a black cast and i didnt need to know his homestone or name”

[2011/01/20 14:08] Pyro Turbo: i opened the gate to let him back out and then he said he was testing our defenses and said “all these defences and yet i can get in by a single rope”

[2011/01/20 14:08] Pyro Turbo: thats when i placed him under arrest by learning the nature of how he got in sir

[2011/01/20 14:09] Pyro Turbo: i bound him and placed him in these cells as to where he is today

[2011/01/20 14:09] Zale of Vonda nods

[2011/01/20 14:09] Crow nodded to the scarlet … “And might I add … that I didn’t fight the arrest nor this imprisonment.”
