Crows Murder

[2011/09/03 13:01] Crow (melchior.wardell) noticed Matthew back and although he was impressed with the man’s swiftness his face didn’t betray that thought “You wish a compliment lad ? Perhaps you should reconsider … perhaps your mummy would give it …” he suggested grimly.

[2011/09/03 13:02] Camillus (razius): Aye Captain, the fire is always burning when I am in camp…I’ve never forgotten, I doubt I ever will. … Captain, my training will never end, I will always be learning, but the final task does draw near…yes.” he turns to the seeker and waited for the Captain to speak, and upon hearing his words, there was a flip of his right lip upward. “Tal Mentor” he said as Xaz moved from his tent.

[2011/09/03 13:02] Elise (sonna.bazar) smiles thankfull and rose graciously to her feet. She was happy that the wind had been blowing from the south east, causing any odure she might have to not be noticed by the Master. She stepped forward, taking a log and placed it on the fire to make sure that it stayed burning before she turned around to walk over to Master Crow and the new trainee.

[2011/09/03 13:02] Xaz Elephas pushes the flap of the tent aside as he walks out, “Tal, Killer.” he nods to Crow, “Cam… Matt. ”

[2011/09/03 13:03] Crow (melchior.wardell) dipped his head in respect to Xaz “Master Assassin … I noticed the door open this time … I am grateful for that trust.”

[2011/09/03 13:03] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber) shakes his head reluctantly with a blank and expressionless look upon it. “I do not wish for a compliment Captain, only training.”

[2011/09/03 13:03] Crow (melchior.wardell) glances to the girl and pointed to his left boot.

[2011/09/03 13:03] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber) looks over to Xaz nodding to him. “Tal Master Assassin.”

[2011/09/03 13:04] Elise (sonna.bazar) had turned and for a quick moment she glanced over to the new man. Her mouth slightly opened, her eyes had widened and her heart began to race within her chest. It Was the one she thought it was and her lips curled up into a wide smile. Only then she remembered where she had been and quickly she turned around. “Bath” she whispered to herself

[2011/09/03 13:04] Xaz Elephas: “Always, Killer. My camp is your camp.” glances to Cam, “I find I have the time today for the kill acting. Do you know what you are suppose to do?” motions Cam to the campfire area. “Lets move over here.”

[2011/09/03 13:05] Crow (melchior.wardell) arched a brow when the girl rushes off. He made a mental note of it but didn’t chase her “So lad … why training ?” he asks as if he was discussing the weather.

[2011/09/03 13:08] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber) stands firm with his chest slightly pressed out with pride. “I am looking to further better my skills of steel. I’ve always looked to killers differently as a child.. not fearing them as much as I should.. but longing to be one myself.”

[2011/09/03 13:09] Crow (melchior.wardell): Why ?

[2011/09/03 13:10] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber): The fear and respect that comes with being an assassin.. the ability to move thru shadow like a leaf thru a breeze.. the hard work and determination it takes to make it through training.. and last but not least to find the people who have taken my father.

[2011/09/03 13:10] Elise (sonna.bazar) had come back all cleaned and smelling like wild flowers when she walked rushed over to Master Crows boots. She did not say a word, she just knelt beside his right boot, her back was straight her hands placed on her upper legs. Her gaze had not been higher then the ground before her as she whispered soft ” Greetings Masters”

[2011/09/03 13:11] Crow (melchior.wardell) frowns “So you seek vengeance ?” he asks while his eyes travel with the girl and rest upon her sharply when she finally kneels to his right. “Left girl.” he tells her.

[2011/09/03 13:13] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber) nods slowly still holding his face with lack of emotion. “Aye to a degree Captain. I understand that it may not be a right reason to become an assassin.”

[2011/09/03 13:14] Elise (sonna.bazar)’s face turned red, her heart beating strong within her chest as she did as told. “Girl begs forgiveness Master” she said nervously. She always was a bit nervous around him, but when she errored it would be even worse. She tried calming herself, breathing in and out as she listened, closing her eyes for a moment while her chin was upon her chest,sitting almost perfectly still.

[2011/09/03 13:14] Crow (melchior.wardell) regarded him “I think it would be the most terrible of all …. and as you are a warrior … or at least until you threw away your insignia … You would know that the mere thought to seek it is a very clouding one.”

[2011/09/03 13:17] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber) slides his foot slowly thru the grass, kicking at the dirt as he looks down to the girl taking her kneel. Matthew slightly smiles at her and diverts his look back to the Captain. “Why is it you ask Captain”

[2011/09/03 13:19] Crow (melchior.wardell) looked at him sharply “When there is the desire to vengeance or seek, there is an attachment … and in this case it isn’t gold.” he replied “Do you understand the depth of what I am saying ?” he placed his hand on the girls head. The grip had a firmness to it as if it was to remind him of something that he needed to address with the girl.

[2011/09/03 13:20] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber): Captain, do I not require an armband signifying the status of my training?

[2011/09/03 13:22] Crow (melchior.wardell) pointed “Kneel.” he demanded tonelessly “Your

question is out of line and hardly an answer to my question.” he tapped to his belt “You wish to be whipped or beaten ?” he paused as if to be sure the full meaning would be felt “I don’t like to repeat myself and sure as hell not my questions.”

[2011/09/03 13:22] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber): So Captain you are saying only to live for steel and gold? *Raises an eyebrow slightly peering into the man’s sharp look*

[2011/09/03 13:23] Elise (sonna.bazar) bit her bottom lip soft, preventing her from wimpering as she felt the firm grip on her head. She closed her eyes again, praying to her beloved Odin as she tried to keep her pose, the firm grip on her head a reminder she was in trouble. She opened her eyes again, trying to concentrate on the conversation between the new trainee and the master who held her in place.

[2011/09/03 13:25] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber) holds his hands clasped together tightly.. his forehead begining to sweat a small amount. Matthew swallows hard and without any expression blirts “I am sorry for not giving you your appropriate answer Captain. It was my mistake and will not happen again.”

[2011/09/03 13:27] Crow (melchior.wardell) eyes seemed to be without life. Perhaps they could remind others as those of a shark. Dark and without the reflection of his soul. “Your life might depend on it … that is for sure.” he mused as if to make himself a mental reminder of this “But when it comes to me and my caste brothers .. there is indeed very little but gold and steel. ” he looked down on the girl “You see this girl … tell me what you see ?” he asks, while he turns to observe the lad intensely.

[2011/09/03 13:30] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber) looks away from the man’s cold eyes and down to the slave. Matthew recognizes her and gives her a strait and emotionless look.. though his eyes still full of color and deep and rich of emerald green.

[2011/09/03 13:31] Elise (sonna.bazar) had looked up but a bit, Just enough to see the formilliar face of the man she was asked to speak of. her heart was pounding as she recognized it and at the same time she thought carefully on what to say. She took a deep breath of air as she answered ” Master I see a man who needs to learn alot”. She hoped it was an answer Master Crow could live with and wouldnt ask her more.

[2011/09/03 13:33] Crow (melchior.wardell) frowns “He needs to learn a lot … you say … Why do you think so ?” he asks while his eyes travel over the man’s appearance. He noted the man without scars and considered the lack of it a show of his skill in combat or lack of experience. But he knew that would quickly pass. “But wait … for a moment slave … ” he tells her to give her time to think. “Lad … what do you see when you look at this girl ?”

[2011/09/03 13:36] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber) looks down at the girl.. knowing now this is the girl from his childhood. The girl who lived next to him. His eyes slightly light up but, Matthew closes his eyes and erases that thought for a moment as he stammers out.. “W-well I see.. A slave whom is nervous and skiddish. A slave girl who is trying her best to please but is struggling to do so. She means well by the gentle look upon her face and the emotion in her eye. She is scared though.. “*Looks harder into her eyes* “Yes, scared.”

[2011/09/03 13:37] Crow (melchior.wardell) frowns “You see things and give them meaning, understand that it is your perception and not solid fact.” he looks down on the girl again “Now answer my question, girl.”

[2011/09/03 13:39] Elise (sonna.bazar)’s thoughts where racing through her mind. She hated it when she was asked to judge about others. she was reliefed she had been given some more time to think about her answer and at the same time she was curious what the Trainee would say about her. She pouted her lush lips a bit, wiggling her nose tip like she always would as she thought, her hands still placed upon her upper legs with their palms down. whe nshe heard the words she felt fire rise within her. How could he believe she was scared.. nervous yes.. she thought.. but then the fire calmed down and she knew there was a hint of truth in it. She closed her eyes and took a breath of air again before she spoke.. ” Master, He speaks before he thinks more then he thinks before he speaks.. He does not listen.. yet.. ” she said soft, her heart pounding in her chest

[2011/09/03 13:40] Alice (callie.claridge) curls a hand around the tree and peeps out from behind it, her freckled face dimpling, “Greetings, masters and kajirae.”

[2011/09/03 13:43] Crow (melchior.wardell) nodded in a way as if he gave the very motion tought. “Lad … You look down upon this girl and you see her fear … or atleast that is what you think you see. It isn’t what I asked, so I will for once tell you what I see.” he regards him “I see a man before me … his dark hair is tied behind him. His face shows some tension, which of course

[2011/09/03 13:46] Crow (melchior.wardell): I could … guess as to the reasons but I am a man of facts. I see him about.” he lifted his hand to signal the height “this high … and that wide. You move from one leg to an other and the clothes you wear signal me you are a seeker. Thus not yet accepted as a true trainee.” he pointed to the slave “This girl … we know lots off … she has submitted if it was in free will or not … and kneels as to signal such … She knows that her life can end at the mere thought of me making that choice.” he pointed to the man before him “That same position … You have now … You submit your life to me or any caste brother … that will teach you when they see you fit … or end it … when they think you are not. Only one out of ten make it … Why do you think You … are that one that is worth our time ?”

[2011/09/03 13:51] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber)’s jaw clenches slightly and his eyes narrow.. his voice slightly lowers, but maintains respect. “I know I’m worth the time, I will show why steel and gold are a value to my life and why I should fight for them, eat for them and breathe for them. I will take my beatings and the lashes upon my back for this right of steel and gold. I am prepared to face any challenge and any man who ask of me a task to complete my goal for the caste and its brothers. Most of all, I wish to further better my self and find a companionship among a cast of feared men, and know what it is not to feel fear myself.”

[2011/09/03 13:51] Alice (callie.claridge) smiles to all and kneels quietly in the high grass, swiping it out of her way a bit.

[2011/09/03 13:53] Crow (melchior.wardell) grins darkly to the lad “Than kneel before this girl …. and tell me what you see from that position.” his voice held a true demand “Now you might think I wish to make you submit … but don’t worry … I will never desire such of a man … since I rather dispose of those that are no true ones. But to show you that humility is very important. To understand that your life is at my mercy as much as is hers.”

[2011/09/03 13:55] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber) sighs and looks to the ground.. he draws the air in quick and looks around to the other people.. feeling mildly embarrassed as he steps towards the girl and takes a knee

[2011/09/03 13:56] Elise (sonna.bazar) listened carefully. The times she had spend with Master Crow had taught her there was always a lesson to learn. Still keeping her gaze on the colourful leafs on the floor she listend quietly to what the man from her past had to say. herheart was pounding in her chest, fear and curiousity and hope all mixed within her as she listens to the words. As much as she feared Master She loved him for the lessons he always taught her. Keeping her back straight, trying to stay in nadu.

[2011/09/03 13:57] Crow (melchior.wardell) regarded the lad that showed at least some promise when he complied. This mere test showed how far a lad would go for that admission in training. He noted Alice and acknowledges her with a nod. He awaited to hear what observations the lad would make from that perspective.

[2011/09/03 13:58] Alice (callie.claridge) gives the master a lovely smile upon his nod, surreptitiously reaching behind her to pull grass out of the way so it would stop poking her in the ass.

[2011/09/03 13:59] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber) peers into the girls eyes.. this time his heart thumped like a bat out of hell in his chest. Matthew’s forehead now beaded and gleaming with sweat as he reaches up and grasps the girls chin. He tips his head and peers into her eyes deeply then releases her face.. and looks about the rest of her body. “I see a simple slave who is helpless to the will of free men and any dominant person alike.. though now I am in her place and upon her level.. I now as well as her can have my life taken just as easily as she can have hers from this standpoint. It would be just as easy for you to kill me as it would to kill her.” Looks up at the man as he swallows hard, part of him hoping that this is satisfactory.

[2011/09/03 14:01] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber)’s legs begin to shift as he presses off of the ground. He slightly starts to stand as he looks to the man, waiting for the response

[2011/09/03 14:03] Elise (sonna.bazar) looked up but a bit, gazing at the chin of the Master as he knelt in front of her, telling of what he sees. She hated it but she knew better to show, she took a quick peek to the side, giving Alice a quick smile before placing her attention back upon the colourful ground, shifting her pose a bit

[2011/09/03 14:04] Crow (melchior.wardell) had posed casual all this time, which often made others think there was no real threat coming from him. But in a blink of an eye it changed when he pressed himself with the heel of his boot towards the lad and reached down to grab him at his ponytail and pulled his head backwards. There was no real force as to break his neck but enough to make it uncomfortable. Most often when you pulled someone hair they – out of reflex – would go with their hands towards it which made their often defenceless. His other hand flat was placed to his throat. If it had been a knife all of this would be life-threatening. “Your eagerness to learn, Your pose, Your show of respect, Your effort is all what will keep you alive.” he whispers while his own pose was bending forward “Now thank this girl for the lesson … and stand straight and ask for a task which … when you complete it will give you at least time to live a bit longer. With that he released him.

[2011/09/03 14:09] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber) stands immediately not making a move.. but when grabbed by his throat his insides lit aflame, his heart burning with rage but his mind focused on the man’s words.. after standing he rubs his neck and coughs lightly. Matthew then without hesitation looks down to the girl and mutters out quietly “Thank you, slave, for this lesson.” Looks to the Captain, with new found respect for the man, looks dead into his eyes, his face still gleaming with the sweat of nervousness. “Captain what is my task?”

[2011/09/03 14:10] Elise (sonna.bazar) bit her bottom lip as she saw the fast repsonse of Master Crow and peeked as He grabbed the seeker by his pony tail, She said nothing, but her heart was pounding in her chest, happy none could hear it as it was as strong as a dozen drums drumming at once. She kept her gaze upon the hand that was placed on the throat, swallowing softly as she remembered what she had seen happen at the lodge. A sigh of relieve would escape her now dry lips when she heard the words from the seeker and was relieved to see he had made it another day.

[2011/09/03 14:12] Alice (callie.claridge) looked up through her reddish lashes, listen and learn, her parents would always say…she looked impassively upon the interaction between the seeker and killer, knowing this man had quite a road ahead of him…she sighed silently.

[2011/09/03 14:13] Crow (melchior.wardell) was impressed with the focus the man showed. “You see that fire there.” he tells the lad “Consider that your life … “he pauses “You will keep it burning … defend it at all costs … since some might challenge you … or cun you to put it out. You have only that fire and your mind to defend it … ” he turns to the lad “And of course your bare hands. Consider this well … if that fire goes out … your life will be put out too. For three days you will keep it burning … and perhaps than the Master Assassin will see your true effort and gives you a spot in his training camp. Any questions ?” he asks.

[2011/09/03 14:16] Matthew Stillborne (boob.knibber) looks over to the weak fire.. he sighs slightly and his heart grows again.. nervous. He looks down to his hands.. empty and unarmed.. then back to the fire. Matthew feels an immediate weight placed upon his chest.. much like the pressure of a thousand lead weights. He nods slowly “Yes Captain, that fire will be a blaze in three days time. I understand this task fully and will not fail.”

[2011/09/03 14:17] Crow (melchior.wardell) nodded “Than proceed … and know … You will be tested in your determination.”

[2011/09/03 14:18] Crow (melchior.wardell) snapped to the girl “Stand.”

[2011/09/03 14:19] Elise (sonna.bazar) had heard the words that formed the task for the seeker and she was relieved that he would live another day. She was happy she didnt have to dig a hole in the ground and watched quietly as the seeker left to do his task. She heard the sharp order form the Master and immediately rose to her feet, not caring if it was gracious or not. Standing she placed her hands on her lower back, her legs lightly parted her gaze at her feet.

[2011/09/03 14:20] Crow (melchior.wardell) looked at her, knowing this would be a challenge for her too. “As you didn’t comply to my first command to approach I will give you a little task … ” he said to her “I wish you to take a bucket and fill it with water … and try to put down the fire of the lad that was tasked with it. “
